Ski/snowboard weekend 25th-28th January 2008, information.
18.00 Friday evening, check-in at
We will arrive in
Cauterets, in the heart of the
The Gondola
ascends directly to the Cirque Du Lys
from 1850 to 2560 metres, with its 35 Kms of runs. (that should be enough for the weekend!) At the end of the
day's skiing or boarding you can leave skis and boards in lockers at the bottom
station for a small charge. Back down in the valley there are bars and cafes, a
casino, an ice rink and a swimming pool, and dinner is provided at our hotel, with wine included!
On Sunday we will again have breakfast in the hotel, spend the day on the
mountain and then descend to return skis and boots etc. We will leave Cauterets
after dinner in the hotel for the overnight trip back to St. Malo, arriving on
Monday morning.We will check our baggage in at the harbour and spend the day in St. Malo, then check in at 17.15 for the
18.00 Condor ferry departure which will arrive back in Jersey
at 18.15 approx.
Cost of this trip is £305 per person ,to include ferries,sleeper coach, hotel accomodation, breakfast and dinner
on Saturday and Sunday, 2 days ski lift pass, and winter sports insurance.
